''Kikuchi Sake Brewing stands in the Tamashima area of Kurashiki City in Okayama Prefecture. In a corner of the traditional port town, it has been in business since 1878. This Bitchu-style sake and the brew master receive high marks at competitive fairs. Boasting excellent water quality from the Takahashi River and together with the superior rice strains Omachi and Yamada Nishiki, quality-oriented is our motto in producing sake the traditional way. We brew with the idea that we wanted to produce with own hands "a delicious and crisp sake that one won't forget after drinking it just once”, an ideal sake. It is rare that our chairman, also is brew master, is pioneer also as a musician. In 2015 at a New York restaurant, he performed on the violin at a sake dinner event. Sake brewed with a delicate sensitivity as well as a touching performance both received applause. The sales of our sake are its relatively high proportion of high-spec and expensive ones, with sales of Daiginjo, Junmai-Daiginjo, Ginjo and Junmai-Ginjo accounting for more than 50% of total. Furthermore, in recent years, we have actively invested in equipment to improve quality, such as upgrading its storage facilities, thermal tanks, and so on. We have been exporting to US from 2013, then China(and Hong Kong), Singapore, UK, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Spain, Belgium, Taiwan, France and the others, now for about 15 countries(Oct. 2023). In many of these exporting countries, our brewers visited the customers directly and promote there.''
